Meet the Instructors

Boz Bostrom, MBT, CPA

Boz is a professor of accounting and finance at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University, and he speaks nationally on the topics of ethics and leadership. Boz also serves on the Board of Directors for the Minnesota Society of CPAs. Prior to becoming a professor, Boz was a senior manager in Deloitte’s international tax practice.

Boz has a particular interest in the area of ethical leadership, and has written a book about one of the most effective and ethical leaders of all-time, retired Saint John’s football coach John Gagliardi. The book is entitled, A Legacy Unrivaled: The Story of John Gagliardi. His first white collar-crime novel, The New Start, was released in the fall of 2021. Mary Jepperson, CPA, CFE

Mary Jepperson, CPA, CFE, is a professor of accounting and finance in the Accounting and Finance Department of the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University. Mary received an Elijah Watt Sells award for outstanding performance on the CPA examination.

Mary began her career in the Minneapolis office of Coopers and Lybrand, where she became the office’s first female partner. After leaving PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mary established a successful forensic accounting and litigation services practice, participating in a number of high-profile cases.

Mary loves teaching! She teaches a variety of courses in the accounting curriculum. She also loves helping people dream big, which is part of her new role as Chair of the Global Business Leadership Department at CSB/SJU.
