Leadership during times of change

June 29th. 8:30am-10:10am. 2 hours of CPE (Non-Technical)

Course Description

Program Content

The past 2+ years have been something none of us could have predicted nor asked for. Many lives have been lost or permanently altered. Through the trials and difficulties, there are many lessons to be learned. We also have to understand how work styles will be forever altered by the prolonged period of working from home. In this session, I will discuss where I learned my leadership style, how I attacked COVID obstacles head on, what I learned along the way, and what my research has shown we must consider when moving forward.

Learning Objectives

  1. Learn from an example of an extraordinary leader
  2. Understand strategies, successes, and failures when working in the COVID environment
  3. Understand how to lead a team while working through difficult times
  4. Understand issues related to returning to work and to effectively manage a team with a more flexible working schedule
